The Clown School is thrilled to announce our first Adventure Clown excursion will be to Japan, Summer, 2023! This carefully curated trip to Japan explores millennia of theatre and clown history in this culturally vibrant country. The Japan itinerary is 10 days and includes a performance workshop at the National Now Theatre, a tour of and performance at Kabukiza Kabuki theatre, a performance at Takarazuka Revue, workshops and talks with some of Japan’s most well-known clown performers, street performance, time to spend on your own to explore the sights of Tokyo and Kyoto, and much, much more! All accommodations and two meals a day are included.
