A new short form program of just six units! Study the art of mime with amazing results. Beginning with simple technique, the course progresses towards the creation of your own mime routine - suitable for both live performance and video or film.

The 6 units are done at your own pace. You will meet virtually with the instructor several times during the course for private dedicated sessions. There will be some project and preparation work between meetings. It's super flexible, fun and personalized. At the end of the journey, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from us. 

The Curriculum:

• Unit 1 — Mime artists and pedagogues - a study of those who have come before!

• Unit 2 — Technique 1 - learn and practice the language of mime - isolations, fixed points, and phrases

• Unit 3 — Technique 2 - learn and practice accents, tempo, and composition

• Unit 4 — Flavors of mime - musical, practical, fantastical, sheer silence - study all the differing categories of mime performance

• Unit 5 — Rehearse Your Routine - create your own mime routine! Share, receive notes, develop and tune your inspiration

• Unit 6 — Perform Your Routine - a guided and supported performance is curated!

Ages 18 and older.
